1. CosaminDS review

   I have arthritis in both knees and have had arthroscopic surgery on my right knee. My surgeon recommended this product. I have been taking it for almost two years, and have experienced increased mobility with decreased pain in my knees. I am able to walk when playing golf without severe pain. The product won’t cure arthritis, but it will mitigate the effects of it.

   great product, saved my knee….. i was limping with pain…. cosamin ds along with fissol is the right cocktail to fight arthritis… i walk normal again, as it should be…..

4. Used for severe pain

   I’ve used this product for over a year. Had severe arthritis pain in my shoulders, particularly my right; (unable to cross my arms or raise right arm over my head). Took 2 twice a day for about 3-4 months before I felt some relief. Dropped down to 3 a day, which I’m still on. Pain free! Don’t dare go off my wonder pills. Be patient if having moderate to severe pain. It works! I’m also taking 2 softgel Celadrin by InflameAway, which I started about six months after the CosaminDS.

5. This did help my knee pain

   I’m 42, active in alpine skiing and beach volleyball and my knees have been aching, clicking, and being downright painful over the past year or two of these sports’ seasons. After seeing a specialist at Duke, I was told there wasn’t anything particularly wrong, just age and well-used joints. She indicated that I might try Glucosamin for a month or two to see if I noticed any difference. After 3 months of the “initial dose” of 3 caplets a day, the aches are gone and I just returned from 7 days of skiing without knee pain. I will switch to the “maintenance dose” of one per day now and see if this remains true through the volleyball season too.

6. Cosamin DS

   Seems to help with joint pain. I don’t think there’s any such thing as a silver bullet when it comes to joint pain but this is as good as any I’ve used.

7. Fixed the problem

   One doctor talked about surgeries–but first, I changed my glucosamine and went to this brand, the same brand my dog took. A German Shepherd with hip issues–we thought she’d never live long. She couldn’t do the stairs of our 4 story town house. This brand, the dog version–did the trick. She didn’t know about placebo affects….she was okay to go up and down, and still does at 13.5 years–5 years later. LOVE this product.

8. charge 2X for shipping

   I seem to have been charged separately for shipping for each bottle. The reason I buy more than 1 is to avoid this. I wish I had read other reviews before I bought from this company Very disappointing. I wrote to the company and got no response. Am looking for another source if anyone knows one?

10. works better than the other brands

    This brand works better than the other brands, according to my husband. He has back trouble and uses it for that purpose. He has tried cheaper brands but always comes back to this one. It is the one his doctor recommended. Amazon has cheaper prices for this supplement than anywhere I can find locally.

11. CosaminDS-Nutamax Joint Health Supplement

    I have severe osteoarthritis in both my knees. CosaminDS was recommended to me by a physician as being the best joint supplement. I tried less expensive brands, but did not get the relief I get when I take CosaminDS. It’s more expensive but worth every penny!

12. Better than the others I've tried

    Dollar for dollar, these were a much better bargain than the other Cosamin based pills I’ve used. Buying through Amazon allowed me to buy these at a lower price and get a more effective product for my money that the other products advertised to do the same.
